Duers of Kansas/Iowa

I have gotten stuck and was looking for help. My father is Max Duer Jr. (b. 1943) to Max Earnest Duer Sr. (1916 – 1972) and Corrine Simmermacher Duer (1922 –1997). Max Sr. was the youngest of 11 children born to Harry Earnest Duer (1868-1936) and Sarah Agnes Clothier (1873 –196?) of Peace Creek, Kansas. Harry’s parents were Jonathan (184? – 1905) and Sarah B. Cranston (186? – 1906). Harry was born in Iowa and was a farmer. He fought in the civil war. He lived in Iowa, Missouri and Kansas. These Duers were involved in the early Church of Christ movement in America.
