My Grandfather was Alva Wayne Duer (b1874-d1929-Kansas). He was a son of Jonathan Duer (b1838-d1907-Kansas) and Sarah Cranston (b1839-d1909), and a brother to Harry Earnest Duer. There was a sister Carrie May Duer (b1867-d1886). Jonathan's parents were William Duer (b1809-d1846-Iowa) and Margaret Stinchcomb (b1811-d1899-Kansas). I believe William's parents were Jonathan Duer (b1777-d1863-Penn) and Margret Cornell (b1785-d1857-Penn), and his Grandparents were John Duer (b1748-d1831-Ohio) and Susannah Miller (b1759-d1839-Ohio). I believe John's father to be a Thomas Duer (b1702-d1788). I would be interested in information on any of these earlier Duers. Thanks, Michael Duer Briscoe
