John William Dugan, son of Thomas and Mary (Hawkins)Dugan, was born about 1840, and died 6-2-1903 at Mulberry Grove, but was buried at the Paine cemetery. He was married 5 times: (1st) on 4-17-1861 to Eliza Gum, a daughter of Isaac Gum. (2nd) on 3-5-1863 to Lavina Moore, and (3rd) on 9-6-1863 to Sarah Margaret Williams. Sarah was born 9-1-1845 in Washington Co. Illinois, and died 8-23-1883 in Fayette Co. and was buried in Paine Cemetery. John and Sarah's children were: Rosetta, Andrew H., Elizabeth Jane, Joseph, George W., Martha Ann, and Mary E. Rosetta, born in 1864, was married on 10-22-1882 to John W. Clark. Her death date is unknown, but she was buried in the Paine Cemetery. Elizabeth Jane, born 1869, was married on 9-27-1887 to David Finney. Mary E. born about 1881, was married on 7-6-1897 to Earnest Maroon of Fayette Co. John William Dugan was married (4th) on 6-16-1884 to Nancy (McDonald) Davis. He was married (5th) on 6-22-1890 to Hannah (Nettles) Potts. This info was found in records at The Greenville Illinois Public Library. I believe most of it is accurate. I have not been able to verify the burials in Paine Cemetery.
