There is a book called "Daniel Carroll II, one man and his descendants, 1730-1978" that may help you (not in print, but your library should be able to help). While the book's Dugan family tree doesn't go as far back as Pierre's generation (it begins a generations after Pierre - it was his brother Cumberland's son, I believe, who married a Carroll descendant), the text in the Dugan chapter mentions several Dugans of note, beginning with the first Cumberland (Pierre's grandfather).I do not remember if it mentions Pierre C., though many Dugans who served in the military are highlighted. You will also find that this line of Dugans tend to use the same names, so separating different branches and different generations can be confusing. In any case, the current Dugan descendants know about Pierre C. (though not that he was arrested for spying), with my cousin having his pistol supposedly used in the Civil War.I think he is buried in New Cathedral Cemetary in Baltimore.I can ask relatives if they know more about him, if he married, etc.
