Jennifer, I see William Dugan on the Tax list 1836-7 in Washington Co. AR. I do not see him on the census of 1830. Where was he in 1830? Also on the BLM GLO records under a James Dugan there is a Land Patent dated 2-15-1819 in Carroll Co. MO. in which he is said to be a brother 2 the other hairs of William Duchan,alias Dugan, and was given 160 acres for Military Bounties along with the other hairs.
