Actually, I have a lot of info. that goes back quite a few generations. I'm a great, great, great grand daughter of Joseph Dugas. Just so you know, some of the actual dates may vary according to other research, as I've come to find out.
Starting out w/ Nicolas Dugas (dit Labreche).Born: 1777 in Chateaugay, Quebec. Died in Malone, Ny. His parents were Pascal Dugas...(b.1746, d.1826 in Chateaugay) and Marie Anne Auge ditGaspar (b. 1763, d. 1825 - same place).
Pascal's parents were Chas Dugas...(b.1712, d.1761, St. Laurent, Montreal) and Charlotte Fortier (d. 1743, Point Claire).
Chas. Dugas'... parents were Jeanbte. Dugas (b. 1681 in Basse-Pyreneese, FR) and Charlotte Vandandaigue (d. 1708 in Beauport, Quebec).
Marie Anne Auge dit Gaspar's parents were Pierre...(b.1736,d. 1800, Chateaugay) and Marie Anne LeBer dit Huber (b.1735, Sault St. Louis, quebec d. 1823, Chateaugay).
Marguerit Lefebvre's (b. 1786, d.1805) parents were Louis Lefebvre and Marie Louise Prevost (b. 1745)
Actually, the amount of information I have goes back about another 3 or 4 generations, but it's impossible to type it all out in this reply. If you'd like the information I have, maybe you could provide me w/ a fax number or P.O. box or such, b/c that would be much easier. But I'd LOVE to share what I have. Kelly (
