Dear Rahsaan, I am the 10th great granddaughter of Abraham Dugas born 1616 in France. I have in St. Anne Auray, Brittany. His father was Abraham Dugas married to Marguerite Carsonne. He married Marguerite Louise Doucet around 1645 in Port Royale, Acadie and he died around 1698 in Port Royale. His child was Claude who is my relative. Other children are Marie, Anne, Martin, Marguerite, Abraham, Marie Madeleine, and Jeanne Marie. Claude's daughter Agnes married Michael Thibodeaux and their child marguerite Thibodeaux married into the Broussard/Brossard family. My descent is via female relatives so the name changes frequently. Let me know if you need any more specific information. I have not been able to document most of this but I do come across it on the internet. Sincerely. Julie
