THANKS KAREN I APPRECIATE IT. I HAVEN'T GIVEN UP ITS JUST VERY FRUSTRATING. MY GREAT GRANDFATHER JOESEPH DUGAS'KNAT'BORN 1868 ALSO KNOWN AS "JOE-HOSS' INHERITED OVER 168 ACRES OF LAND BY HIS DUGAS FAMILY MEMBERS IN THE LITTLE BAYOU IN NEW IBERIA PARISH, AND WHEN IT WAS FOUND THAT OIL WAS DISCOVERED ON THE LAND IN WHICH IT WAS REFERED TO AS THE JOE KNAT TRACT' SOMEHOW THE LAND WAS TAKEN BY JOHN SCHWING AND TOM LANDRY. THIS IS JUST ONE THING THAT I FOUND. THERE ARE SO MANY SECRETS IN MY FAMILY THAT I GUESS I WANT TO KNOW THEM ALL AND SLOWLY THEY ARE BEING DISCOVERED. THANKS AGAIN:)
RAHSAAN
