Dugas Family

I believe my great great grandmother was Adeline Dugas, her father was Joseph Dugas her mother Appoline Audet.
They were married 19 Feb 1816. Adeline married Olivier Hurteau b. 19 Sept 1808 on 17 Apr 1852 at Ormstow,
Quebec Canada. I have found them in Waukegan, Lake Co., Illinois in 1857 for the birth of a daughter, Adeline.
My great grandmother Margaret Mary Hurteau was born in 1861 in Waukegan, IL. Does anyone have any
information on this Dugas Family? Also, are all Dugas' Acadian? I am really new to researching the Acadians and did they all migrate to Louisana? My family settled in Michigan. Any help would be appreciated.
