Thank you Karen for this information. I have been confused on this for some time. Perhaps my Dugas
was one that ended up in Quebec, as that is were I found them in 1852. Joseph Dugas and Appoline
Audet were married in 1816, but where I do not know. Their daughter Adeline Dugas was married to
Olivier Hurteau in 1852 at Ormstown, Quebec. Adeline was Olivier's third wife and he lived in the
area of Chateauquay and Huntingdon Quebec, lived near Ormstown, Quebec during first two marriages.
It has been hard to find any Dugas family members who lived in Quebec, there were are few. Thanks again.
