My husband, Homer Hemond is a descendant of Sophie Dugas-Labreche, wife of Michel Latour. Sophie and Michel had 12 children of whom 9 lived to maturity. Their youngest daughter, Delima married Joseph-Napoleon L'erige dit Laplante. They had three daughters, the youngest, Rose, married Pierre Sirois. They had 6 children, the eldest, Aurore, married Omer Hemond in 1925. They had 9 children. Homer and I were married in 1954 and have 9 children also, one is deceased. Please contact our daughter Suzanne at smcboozer@hotmail.com for the complete breakdown with names and some dates and locations. We're looking for information on Sophie's parents. We know that she and Michel were married on January 20, 1834 in Sault aux Recollet, Montreal, Quebec.

Thanks,
Katy
