Hey Rahsaan,

You are a hard person to get in touch with. I have been hoping you would post a new message for some time now. I am your cousin, Lakesha Knatt, Clement Knatt's only granddaughter. My father is Robert Knatt and my family and I live in Seattle, WA. I wanted to get in touch with you because it seems we share a similar passion and also because my fiance and I will be visiting my grandfather in Louisiana this year for his b-day (March 16th). I have a lot of questions, mainly about what information you have been able to dig up. I have been traling your messages and so without knowing it, you wer able to answer a lot of my earlier questions, like whether or not my real last name is Dugas, and what some of our ancestor's names were. Thank you for that.
Unfortunately I don't have any new info but I am wondering if you wouldn't mind sharing some of your info with me. Number one: do you know your grandmother, Julia Knatt's siblings? Was one of them named Francis (Frank)? He is my great-grandfather and I would like to learn the names of the rest of his siblings. By the way, I am not sure that Mariah Boutte was Native American; my grandfather believes she was African American. Also, where was Virgina (slave on Dugas plantation) from (Africa or the Caribbean)?
That will help me a lot, and if possible I would like to get to know you. I emailed you a few times, but I am not sure the "rawdesigner73" address is still accurate. I will try again.
Always your cuz,
