The death certificate for Steve Dugas 1892-1911 shows his parents as Mike Dugas and Barberia Gergelei
The death certificate for another Stephen Dugas 1863-1942, who lived in Mahoning County and may be a relative, shows his father as Michael Dugas and Mary Bobak. He was born in Maly Nilcik Spisska Zuoa, Slovakia.
The death certificate for Barbara Dugas 1873-1944 shows her father as John Gergei, but the mother's name is not listed. I could not determine when the elder Michael Dugas. It was after Barbara since she was married at the time of her death.

You might try the Mahoning Valley Historical Society: http://www.mahoninghistory.org/index.htm
and the Slovak Heritage & Folklore Society: http://feefhs.org/slovak/frgshfsi.html to see if they can help you especially in finding the elder Michael's death date. Since he was a naturalized citizen, his papers should be have when and where he arrived and possibly where he came from. Obituaries should prove helpful.
