Dugas: Guess What? We're Jewish

Got your attention? Just got a DNA test back. I'm an Acadian Dugas who traces back to Abraham Dugas.

Here is the result:

Paternal Haplogroup:J2a1j

Haplogroup: J2, a subgroup of J

Age: 18,000 years

Region: Southern Europe, Near East, Northern Africa

Populations: Ashkenazi Jews, Sephardic Jews, Lebanese

Highlight: Haplogroup J2 is found in nearly one-quarter of Sephardic Jewish men.

I am going to hazard a guess that old Abraham was called Abraham for a reason. I am also going to hazard a guess that the Spanish inquisition is why our bloodline went Catholic.
