Hi Kim.. At last a reply to my query! I have a quite extensive file on the family of Wm. Duggins, of Louisa Co. Edmund Pendleton Duggins is said to be his youngest son, and I have children, grchildren, etc. for all this line
I still want to connect our Pat to this family. The Wm. Duggins line was researched in part by the wife of a descendant of -stay with me- one of the sons of Patrick and his first wife, Lucy Jane Ford. But she based the connection to William through a son, John.
There was also a son John who moved to Missouri early in the 1800s. Now there would hardly have been two Johns in one family unless the lst John had died. And he hadn't. I think the 2nd John was really "George", and perhaps Pat is his son, but can't seem to nail down the connection.
I have all the William Duggins stuff on a floppy, which I could copy and send you by regular mail, or if I could learn how, I could send it by e-mail. It is in Family Tree Maker form now. I have not entered it in my regular file, cause I don't feel I have the proper connection.
William Duggins fought in the Revolution from about Day-One, and I'm hoping some day to find the connection, which I feel sure is there, for his relationship to P.H.
Let me know what you want to do about this. Marcia
