While exploring the KY census 1810-1890 recently I found my ancestor, Jesse Duggins, briefly in Garrard Co. KY in 1830 along with Elizabeth, Daniel and John. Is this family connected to your line? Jesse has been a dead-end for a long time. He came out of KY to IA, married my gr-gr grandmother, had a couple of kids and then disappeared off the face of the earth leaving young orphans with no tales to tell. There weren't a lot of Jesse Duggins in the U.S. at that time. From what I can tell, he was the only one - maybe the original.
