Desperately searching for information on my grandmother's family from Stokes County, NC. She was Onighter DELL DUGGINS and was born 9/11/02. She is the daughter of Minnie Lee Duggins. Minnie Lee was married to Dave DODSON in 1904 but I can find no record of a marriage before. Minnie is buried at Pine Hall Presb. Church cemetary in Pine Hall, NC.
Her maiden name may have been Duggins but a census record from 1880 lists her as divorced. Her mother was Matilda Hammons b: ~ 1842/43 and married a Duggins. I found a marriage between a Matilda Hammonds and John Duggins in 1857, but cannot verify this is THE Matilda Hammonds.
I'm also searching for the father of Dell Duggins, husband of Minnie Lee Duggins. Minnie Lee Duggins later married Edd Glenn in 1927. Dell's brothers were: Jennings Duggins, Rufus Gordon Duggins and sister: Ethel Dodson.
