Hello. My name is Curt Duggins as was my father's,(d. 1982). His family hailed from Mississippi and North Carolina and possibly VA. The earliest Duggins' we have record of is one LEANDER DUGGINS, B.10.24. 1840. He married Martha Kendall, from Montgomery County, NC and together they had 6 kids. Mary, Ann, James, Joseph(JOE), Sallie and Kate.............. Leander passed away in 1/27/1867. He would have been my great-great grandfather............any help from another duggins' researcher or o/w would be greatly appreciated!!!! 1860 census records show Leander Duggins living in Mississippi in Tallahatchie County, now known as Grenada County I believe? I have more but I hope someone can see this and recognize the name Leander as a brother/???? in their research and possibly aid me in locating Leander's parents or grandparents,..............maybe the mysterious Ellick?

Thanks again,

Curt Duggins
