Hi! I have been reading about the Duggins family descending from England. I always "assumed" we were of Irish/Scottish descent, despite what my historial book says. Now I am going to try the English route. If anyone knows anything about a WILLIAM DUGGINS who was born Oct. 31, 1751 (birthplace should be England) and immigrated to Fredericksburg, VA with his widowed mother at the age of 12 (1787), I would love to hear from you. He also served as a Capt. in the Revolutionary War. This has been a "dead end" for us for the last 10 yrs. I have read some information on an "Ellick" Duggins that corresponds to some dates, but not others that show him as a father to a William Duggins born on same date. My info says he was an only child and the info I found with Ellick shows 3 other siblings. Any help is greatly appreciated!
