Hello, yet another Duignan here who is looking forward to
getting a copy of The Amazing Book of the Duignans. After
all it is not every day that you find a book written about
your namesakes. My husband Ron's father is from.... you
guessed it.. Roscommon and we thought we would try to find
out some stuff for him. He is in his 70's now. His family
actually came from Boyle, (he also says Tullythorn,Ballyfron
but we are not sure if the spelling is right). His father
was James and he married a Mary Jane Moran. He had two
uncles, Patrick and Michael who went to USA (Boston we
think). He is in his 70's now and living in North London,
he has seven children all living nearby him. I think he
also had an uncle Thomas who he said went gold digging!!
My father in law's name is Michael Joseph Duignan (known as
Micky Jo to us). I would love to find out more about the
Duignans and get hold of this book if possible so please
help if you can. We are a much bigger group than I thought.
And I suppose the U in DUignan is the bane of everybody's
life. How many times have you said..I'll just spell that
for you!!. We would be very grateful if anybody could
Rose and Ron Duignan
