Hi!
In searching my Craig line..I have found connections to the Duignan(and many other variations) family of Ballinameen,Roscommon. There were Cummings(all variations),Kearns,Byrnes(all variations)..and these folks ended up in Orange,Essex county,NJ.Many had records at Our Lady of the Valley RC Church. For instance:
Patrick Craig/Cregg
and wife Mary Cummings had son James baptised Nov 15 1876?(i can't read my own writing!) and the sponsors were Martin Degnan and Mary Degnan.
From IGI batch C701661 is the baptism of Maria Commons on sept 16 1868..in Breedogue and Ballinameen.Parents of Maria were Martini Commons and Sarae Duignan.
Have you run across any NJ connections?Cathy
