Very interesting! John M. Duke, son of Jesse Duke, had a Hester Duke, with his first wife, Charity Waldrop. He also had a Rowland Lewis Duke, with his second wife, Mahala Hudson. We also have a number of Dukes in our extended family with the middle name of Nelson. The above John M. also had a son John Nelson, and my James Nelson Duke was son of Jesse Duke and Nancy Waldrop There are more in later generations too. - It seems as if the number of same and similar names in common are beginning to add up.
