I am pretty much convinced that if there are in fact, two Robert Duke's, then
the Robert whose will was found in Camden/Fairfield, must be the son of the Robert Duke of Dry Creek, Camden/Lancaster Co., SC. I am going to put something together on this, with supporting documentation, soon, and post it on this board. The surnames also involved will be: Sims, Cook, Wooten, Fuller, etc.
Also, on the Duke DNA site, there are only supposed descendants (of the Robert Duke and Nancy of Fairfield) who have so far been tested, and no actually documented ones, to my knowledge.
