That's great, Otis. Aaron Duke of Fairfield raised a male child named Ensley Duke, as I've mentioned before, and his descendant says Ensley married Mary Outing, which I'm convinced was Outen, Wootan,or Hooten. She may have had a brother named Daniel who raised her last baby as his own; as far as I can tell, she died about the same time the baby girl was born.
There's nobody in my family that I can talk into the DNA thing. I have one living brother who has RA, and refuses to do it; and an older cousin who has never told me why he hasn't. I wish they would. Though I can't guess how that would help, since I don't know my Meredith's father.
My son and I eagerly await your posting.
