Wit: James Price, Jeremiah Nichols, Robert DUCK Jan Ct 1763 Jas HALL CC This information, plus the Wootens who appear in the 1790 Fairfield Co., SC census with the sons of the deceased Robert Duke, is what I've been able to find so far on a Duke/Duck-Wooten connection. Please note that in IoW VA records, the Daughtry, Crenshaw, West, and other names appear in mutual association with Duck, etc. Also please note that on the 1739 LIST OF JURYMEN IN EDGECOMB/BERTIE CO, NC, a Robert DUKE appears, but not a Robert DUCK. This Robert DUKE is clustered in there on one page, with Daughtry, Fuller, Cook, Taylor, Spann, West, Pace, Boykin, Wynn, and other names that are known to be later associated with the family of Robert Duke of Lancaster, SC, and the families of Thomas Crenshaw, in IOW VA, and brother Joseph Crenshaw, in Halifax/Edgecomb, NC, before the latter (Joseph) moves to Lunenburg Co., VA, in 1745 (as NC and VA records show). I will send more later, on this subject. Otis Fuller Notify Administrator about this message?
