Hi, seen your posted message and thought you might be interest in hearing this little story. My name is Ed Duel (surname Ed Dul)and this is a story I've heard around relative gatherings at the Dul's clan from some of the elder Dul's. Weather or not the validity of this story is true or not is anyone's guess. Anyway, supposely the name "Dul" orginated from England. One of the great great Grand Dad Dul's got himself in trouble with the law. He was given the choice of leaving the country like the Pilgrims or going to prison. Guess he decided on the first choice. He fled to Poland and marry a Polish lady and the rest is history. Therefore, you may choose to venture a little in the British genealogy arena. Also, your grandmother Catherine Dul is from the same era as my great grandfather - Frank Dul. Is this a brother and sister duo? Unfortunately, I have no information to verify this.
