I have a paragraph of information I want to share with you regarding the Huguenot connection. It came from "The Huguenot" Vol.25 dated 1971-1973 of the Huguenot collection housed at the State of Ohio Library.
Page 224
"All the Delaney, Delaune, Delauney, Delony, Dulaney and Dulany families classify as Huguenots, some from Ireland, some from London physicians of the seventeenth century."
I have done a good bit of research on this subject because my family was supposed to be descended from a Huguenot by the name of Jacques Dulon.About two years ago I found out he was connected with the French Reformed Church on Staten Island, NY and not in Virginia at all!If the above is true you all are very lucky to be able to trace your ancestry so far back.
