Hello. I come from the Dulin/Dowlin/Dowling, etc line of MO 1790s. They first lived in Ste. Genevieve and then to St. Louis area. I would check Jefferson and Howard counties. We do have early Moore intermarriage that went to TX with my ggggrandfather Patrick, who began as a Dulin in MO and became a Dowlearn in TX! That's what happens when someone else gets to spell your name. The old people in SE TX spell it that way but pronounce it Du-lin. Go figure.
