It just occurred to me to look up the name Dulin as it is the name of the people who first bought my property, back in about 1838 in Vernon, Iowa, Van Buren County, a town that barely exists anymore. Bentonsport is across the river. Gustavus (?) and his wife are buried in the cemetery down the road. I would have to go to the cemetery to see what her name is. Are they any relation?
