Ha Ha ..... I can understand the confusion. In my database I only have 31 William Dulings including the four generations preceeding me and my son and myself. We are very original in naming our children.

William Duling who died in 1839 is commonly referred to as William Sr., although his father was also named William. William Sr's son was named William Alexander Duling and is usually referred to as William Jr., however, in the 1856 probate of his will, William Jr. is now William Sr. most probably because his own father was long dead and William Jr. now had a son named ......... William!
