Catherine (CARROLL) Hart and her husband Julius Caesar HART named a daughter born in 1832 in Augusta, Carroll, OH, as Elizabeth FIMPLE Hart. It is written that David Fimple (born 1798 in Washington Co, PA) and Hannah (DUMBLETON) Fimple were married in Augusta Township in 1825, and therefore probably were neighbors. I cannot however find any other connection, and wonder if there was an earlier Carroll/Fimple family connection, as I think it would be a little unusual to name a child just after neighbors otherwise.

Catherine Carroll (born 1807, Cumberland, PA) was a daughter of Philip and Mary (maiden name unknown) Carroll, born in PA or Germany, and in Jefferson Co, OH by 1812.
