Hi, Don't find any connection but since I am just beginning the search for my great-grandfather want to throw this out to all. I have found various spellings of Dummigan. My family has it with 1 m. In some US cencus records it has 2 n's. One US census has my g-grandfather, Lawrence Dumigan born in "Irish Free State" in about 1835. He immigrated to USA as a young man, (not sure of exact date) and settled in New York State where he farmed. Any info is appreciated.
