Pamela, I have a Jacob Dumond (originally from Licking Cop OH) who was married to my g-g-grandmother. According to a letter I have, after moving to IL he left her and their family there and moved on to Iowa where he started another family. Jacob had a son Lewis W Dumond born in Des Moines IA in 1872. Jacob died in Huntsville WA in Jul 1900. Does any of this ring a bell to you? John High
