You might send information to St. Joseph du Corbeau. That's where all her children were baptized and she was also born there. I've been digging all day and think she is from Pierre (Peter) or Augustus. One researcher says she must be from Hubert, but his daughter was born in 1815. The information I have is always the same dates, very precise, July 26, 1812. Its on her obituary and stone. While culling every bit of information I could from the net, I have most of the Clinton Co. Dumont's sorted out to specific families. I just need that connecting link.
I'm still puzzled about why Abram Dumont is with them in Minnesota. I later find his family in the Dakota Territory in 1880 without Abram.
