I was looking at the brothers-in-law of my John Brindley thinking perhaps John might have been where at least one of them was before Rockingham Co. VA. Do you know where the Dunavans were before Rockingham?

One brother-in-law was Davis Dunaven (an admir of John T. Brindley's 1823 Caldwell Co. KY estate sale with Thomas Curry).

John was in Christian Co.(next to Caldwell) prior to 1820 so I'm guessing, with the Rockingham Co. VA and the Christian Co. connections, this Davis Dunaven might be from your family.

The brothers-in-law:
Susan Twitchet, m: Leonard Spence, 1800, Rockingham, VA
Ester Twitchet, m: John Grumbley, 1801, Rockingham, VA >(Todd Co. KY formed from Christian
Sarah Twitchet m: Lawson Thomas, 1802, Rockingham, VA > Todd Co. KY
Margaret Twitchet, m: ***Davis Dunaven 1805, Rockingham, VA. > Caldwell Co. KY
Eleanor Twitchet, m: ***Thomas Curry 1806, Rockingham, VA > Caldwell Co. KY
Anne Twitchet, m ***John Brindle, 1809, Rockingham, VA > Christian and Caldwell Co. KY

Gale (another side of Spfld, IL)
