Interesting that you have connections with Akers and Dunfords. My g-g-father lived with Akers in Russell Co. at age 1yr. old. Later he found out that his father was a William F. Dunford who eventually married his mother Rosannah Dickenson. My g-g-father used the name of Dickenson all his life. Does the name Eilliam F. Dunford and or William Akers mean anything? They were in Russell Co., VA. Thanks. DD.
