My husband's grandmother is NELLIE MAY DUNFORD CARLTON from Montcalm WV. She is alive and well but cannot remember things like she used to so we really need help with this line.

I have been told her dad was either CHESTER ARTHUR OR CLARENCE ARTHUR. His grave may be in Montcalm at Tabernacle Hill but have been told his father's first name is on the stone by accident instead of his.???. He was a foreman type in the coal mines and died relatively young. NELLIE lived in Montcalm until she married and still has someone there...maybe a sister?

I also believe her mother may have been MARY ELIZABETH GILLS but again I have no proof that is exactly right. I found a headstone at Tabernacle Hill that looks like it could be hers but supposedly she was not interned there with her husband. That stone also mentions BOWMAN. So...?

I see here there is a Dunford reunion. Can anyone share information on that? Thank you so much!!!
