This site might help you. It's the family tree of William Dunford. They are near the bottom of the Dunford tree. The Durnford tree gives the rest of the tree.
There is also a book out called Rakaia - 150 yrs of settlement. It's only $7 + postage from the Ashburton Genealogical Society. It's advertised on the net, just Google the book name and it should come up. Believe me it's worth the little money you'd have to pay. It has William and Elizabeth's story along with others that settled there.
I am descended from them too.
