Frances TOTTEN is the daughter of George and Elizabeth STALCUP DUNGAN. I have Frances m. Joseph TOTTEN descended as:

5John Robert b.2/14/1769 Smyth Co, VA, d.11/16/1846(age77 yrs 2 mo 9days per headstone)Marion, VA, brd. St. Clair Bottom Cem, Smyth Co. VA, m.1792(ages23/16)to Mary Frances GASKINS b.1776, d.11/24/1809(age 33) brd. Old St. Clair’s Bottom Cem; m2.1810 to Rebecca WILSON b.5/19/1782, d. 4/4/1851 Smyth Co (age 68 yrs 10 mo 13 days), 1850 lived with Thomas W. and Anne.

6George b.4/20/1795 VA, m.8/31/1820 VA Elizabeth STALCUP, likely all family moved to Shelby Co MO w/Issac, James and Sampson STALCUP in 1830's; George W. and Elizabeth listed in land records of Macon 11/10/1841 and Sullivan MO 10/10 1856

7Frances "Fanny" etc. comes next

John Robert is the brother of Elijah m. Hannah CHAMBERS. James, Hannah's eldest son migrated to MO and that is the James she is thought to be living with as HOH. However, the ages are a little off. One explanation is that the records were not as exact and James is listed a few years off or since several families of DUNGANs migrated to MO about the same time (there are several Hannahs in those families of various ages)this might be another James (grandson or nephew Hannah is with.
