A.R. Justice's book is the only Dungan reference to Charlemagne that I have seen in print. However....I am new to researching Dungans. I have a handwritten lineage chart bequeathed to me that places the Charlemagne line through Elizabeth Townsend (1808-1850), wife of William Dungan (1793-1875)of Quarryville, PA. Good luck.
