Hello,
recently obtained a copy of Dunkelbergers in America. The facsimile of the ships list shows four "Tonkelberg" men: Clements, Clements, Peiter and Frederick. All four signed the Oath of allegiance. Clements, age 47, signed his name, the others signed with an X. This Clemens was baptised 9/16/1682 and married Margaretha Godscalk--the banns were published 9/21 to 9/28 1704. Their son Clemens was baptised 6/3/1705 and married Anna Maria Hauer in Pa. after 1737. Hope this helps. Carol
