One I have from the 1851 census who I assume is one of my Dunkley family because of place links and she bears the same name as my grandmother (though she would have been of the previous generation) is Mary Ann Dunkley born in Northamptonshire. She is listed as a visitor at Lavendon aged 17 staying at the home of the Coles family.
Though Edward Dunkley was born at Lavendon in 1848 there is no trace of any Dunkley's in the village apart from Mary Ann in 1851. Edward Dunkley's parents were William Dunkley who was married to Hannah (nee Bent). Is this of any help ?
