Hi Cuz,

Did you ever find the reason for the disparity with your Daniel Dunkley? I've still not been able to find him.

Would you tell me a bit more about your lineage from Alvira Dunckley(Duncklee, Dunklee, etc) and Royal Zebulon Bennett? I was in upstate NY last summer and I have pics of their headstone at Brant Lake Cemetery, about an hour north of Lake George.

I descend from their son, Judson, 1858-1924. I also have a picture of Judson, my g grandfather. He is buried in St. Pauls's Cemetery in Hudson Falls, NY as is his son, William Clayton Bennett(1888-1964) (my grand-dad). I have pics of "Clayt" as well. I still have tons of Bennett relatives in that area.

Since Royal Z was a veteran of the Civil War (I have a copy of his pension application), the gravesite is still taken care of and when I was there it had a fresh American Flag.

I know of one Bennett descendant who actually has a picture of Alvira and Royal Z. However, this person is something of a nut case and doesn't share. On the other hand, I'm happy to share whatever I have with you.

I expect to be back up there this summer so may find even more genealogical gems. When I retire, 5-6 years, I plan to have a summer home in the NY Adirondacks and will have lots of time for genealogical stuff. My ancestors (and your's) were early settlers of the area.
