Have you ever heard of Green Berry L. Dunkley? He was born in SC in 1800. There were very few Dunkleys in that area, so would think he might be related to your Dunkleys of NC & VA. He had a daughter named Izetta by his first wife (unknown, probably married in SC) and had the following by his second wife:
3 sons John G., Samuel S., & Salathiel, and 1 daughter: Sela E. or Elizabeth S. I would think that one of his sons might be named after his father? Perhaps Henry was his uncle and John his grandfather?
