I am also of Jamaican descent. I was told something totally different about my family line. I was told the Dunkley family originated in Germany or Germantown. I was told about the german sailors that came on the island of jamaica and settled. From there came many lite-skinned and red faced jamaicans on that side of the island. I am very proud of my name and my heritage. I would like to know more. Please feel free to share the information you have of the family.
