Christine, I did research the John Bunkley who had a will dated June 10, 1725 in Isle of Wight Co. for a while. I thought it was funny that he had 2 sons named John. It always seemed that they stuck to the name Bunkley instead of Dunkley. The deeds you are talking about on John Bunkley in Brunswick I believe that they might be my John Dunkley but mispelled. In the parish records for Brunswick his named was also spelled Bunkley. Again, don't know for sure if this is my John or not, but could not find any other Bunkley's in Brunswick. I wish I had answers for you, but I don't. Have you checked out the Driver family? That might be your answeror mine. Sorry for not being much help.
