I am searching for information on Rev. Benjamin Ross Montgomery. I have no dates but he first married Eliza Nichols, dau. of Julius Nichols, on 10 April 1805, in Pendleton District, SC. Secondly, he married Anne Geddes (1779-1825) who was the widow of John Dunlap, Esq., on 11 Feb 1808 in Charleston, SC. Anne Geddes was the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Geddes.

Rev. Benjamin Ross Montgomery and Anne Geddes Dunlap Montgomery are buried with her family at First Scots Presbyterian Churchyard, Charleston, South Carolina.

Rev. Benjamin Ross Montgomery was the professor of Logic and Moral Philosophy at the South Carolina College from 1811 to 1818, and also was the Pastor of the Presbyterian Church of Columbia, SC. Biographical Sketches of the Bench and Bar of South Carolina by John Belton O'Neall, LL.D., President of the Law Court of Appeals and the Court of ERrrors., Vol. II, page 175, Charleston, S.C., 1859.

If anyone has dates, ancestors, children for Benjamin Ross Montgomery I would appreciate a response.
