James Warnock, b. 1770-1780, d. 1841-1850, married Mary Dunlap, b. abt 1779, d. aft 1850. Mary was the daughter of John Dunlap, b. Ireland, d. 5/1781, and Margaret (Mary) Millwee, b. 10/12/1748, Pennsylvania, d. bet 1793-1800, Laurens District, South Carolina. James and Mary Dunlap Warnock lived in the Anderson/Pendleton District, South Carolina, along with Mary's sister Margaret who married Samuel Brewster and Sarah who married a Mr. Riggs.

James and Mary Dunlap Warnock had four children according to James's will: Mary, Matilda Boroughs, Alfred and Leroy. A grandchild, Nancy Elizabeth Boroughs, was also named in the will.

Daughter Mary (Dunlap) Warnock married John Warnock, b. 1803, who was the son of John Warnock and Eleanor Dowdle. They had four children: Margaret E. Warnock, James Dunlap Warnock, Sarah H. Warnock, Andrew Pickens Warnock.

If anyone has information on this family I would be very interested. I would like to know if James and John Warnock were related and who the parents of James were. I would like to know where James and Mary Dunlap Warnock are buried as well as any descendant information.

Thank you,
