James Dunlap Washington Co PA; Guernsey OH

I would appreciate any info on James Dunlap b abt 1778 in PA. I know he was in Washington Co from 1798 to 1825, he was in the War of 1812 and was referred to as Major after that. He was a tailor and the "Brigade Inspector" for Washington Co Militia. He also operated several inns (Mt Vernon Hotel, the Jackson Inn). I find no more records in Washington after 1825. He began appearing in Guernsey Co OH histories in early 1800s and was in Cambridge where he was a respected and popular figure, marshal of Andrew Jackson parade, etc until abt 1841, don't find anymore mentions of him. He had at least four children: Dr Geo Washington Dunlap, Dr Andrew Jackson Dunlap b 1815, Nancy Dunlap (she m Ansel Briggs 1st gov of Iowa), & Wilson Shannon Dunlap (all born PA). He married Nancy Shannan? no proof - one record says Martha Shannon -- any info on either of these ladies. And later he m Elizabeth James Hawley or Holley widow of Barton D Holley in Guernsey. I would be interested in any specific dates of birth, marriages or date of death and sources for the dates. Some say he was the son of John Dunlap the printer of the Declaration of Independence. I would be interested in any source for that as well. Or any other speculation of where he came from. Thanks for any help
