       Charlotte Brackenridge, born February 13, 1814 in Argyllshire, daughter of David and Charlotte (McMillan) Brackenridge, married John Dunlap, Jr. November 20, 1835 in Washington Co., Ohio. John Dunlap, Jr., who was the son of John Dunlap, Sr. and Mrs. Mary (Brackenridge) Langwill of Campbeltown, Argyllshire, Scotland, emigrated from Campbeltown in the fall of 1834 to Washington County, Ohio. This couple resided in Washington Co., Ohio from about 1835 until about 1844 and then removed to Tippecanoe Co., Indiana in 1845; and then to Union twp., White Co., Indiana in 1851 – 1860 – 1880

Note: [Apparently John Dunlap died and his widow, Mary. E. Dunlap, b. about 1845 Indiana, married second John W. Brannon of Monon, White County, Indiana on March 17, 1874. The 1880 census indicates that Mary’s parents were both born in Pennsylvania. Mary’s maiden name is unknown.]

Note: [James Power Henderson son of William Henderson, b. abt. 1818 PA and Sarah Ann Moore, OH (Dec 29, 1823 - Oct 20, 1880) IN. Sarah Ann Moore married a second time and died as Sarah Ann Arrick, the late Mrs. John Arrick, Jr. of Union twp., White Co., Indiana. Sarah survived both husbands.]
